Insecurity

This mail client has been pretty secure. There has been a little exploit known that will show a password for the account if you store it, read below:

Thanks for starting up a security page for Macintosh.

I saw the Eudora exploit, and you wanted to know more ways of using AppleScript and Eudora. Vince’s exploit will, as he says, only work if the password is saved in eudora. If it’s not, you can use Applescript to save it. This will work if Eudora is still open after getting e-mail. When the password has been typed once it will remain in memory until Eudora is closed.

tell application “Eudora Pro” to set setting 24 to yes

will make sure the password is saved. Now you can go and get it. And when you’ve got the password, you can use applescript to make Eudora mail it to an address of your choice.
